Bengali Cricket Club started the league 2017 with a big defeat against llobregat Cricket Club. Bengali CC had short of player because of some unavoidable incidence. They started with 8 players and fielded first 10 over with 3 fielders short. Later joined 2 more player which makes them 10.
On 7th may, 2017 at 16:00hrs started the match. Llobregat cc captain won the toss and elected to bat first. Llobregat cc took the advantage of gaps in the ground and they manage to score more then 100 runs in first 10 overs, which was the cruical point to win the match. In there quota of 25 overs, llobregat scored 253 runs by loss of 5 wickets. Usman and Faizan of llobregat cc made 71 and 54 runs for there team. Sohel took 2 and sohag, arif and Badshah took 1 wicket each.
In return, Bengali CC openers started very poor and they lost there first two wickets in 11 runs. After that Sohel(36) and Captain Arif (24) keeps the score running. Loss of the wicket of sohel makes the scoring rate down, Bengali CC lost there way and never cameback to the game. Later Badsha(19) and Nadim(9) tried to stay in the wicket to make runs difference lower.
